Our eye doctors take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision problems.
Dr. Samantha Ford, a native of Northern Kentucky, is a first-generation college graduate and the first in her family to become a doctor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Kentucky University in 2020 and her Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State College of Optometry in 2024. Dr. Ford's interest in optometry was sparked by the crucial role comprehensive eye examinations play in monitoring overall health. During her studies, she developed a passion for helping patients with binocular vision disorders and traumatic brain injuries, enhancing their quality of life through vision therapy. Outside of her practice, Dr. Ford enjoys hiking, attending concerts, reading mystery novels (particularly those by Stephen King), and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Dr. Brian Tracy is an optometrist who is committed to providing his patients caring, high quality eyecare, with an emphasis on maintaining a lifetime of the best possible eye health. Dr. Tracy obtained his degree of Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State College of Optometry in 1995, and his degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Toledo in 1991. Dr. Tracy co-founded Pickerington Eyecare in 1998. He is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, Central Ohio Optometric Association, The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce, and Violet Baptist Church. In his free time Dr. Tracy enjoys spending time with his 6 kids, following Ohio State sports, golfing, playing softball with his church, and playing acoustic and bass guitar.
Dr. Travis Storm joined Pickerington Eyecare in 2009 after graduating with honors from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He is a native of the Ohio Valley, growing up in Glen Dale, West Virginia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia where he and his wife, Janelle, were both Division II basketball players. Dr. Storm is committed to providing the best family eye care possible and finding the best visual solution for each patient based on their needs and lifestyle. He also treats eye health issues ranging from “pink eye” to diabetes. Dr. Storm lives in Hilliard with his wife and two children, Shaye and Cole. He is an avid sports fan and loves to cook, especially using his backyard smoker.
Dr. Chontos joined our practice in January, 2014. He did his undergraduate work at The Ohio State University and obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State College of Optometry in 1987. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Physiological Optics from The Ohio State Graduate School in 1987. He graduated cum laude and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He brings over 26 years of experience in primary care optometry to the practice. Dr. Chontos has resided in Pickerington for 25 years with his wife, Amy. His children, Katie and Kyle, are graduates of Pickerington High School North. He enjoys spending time with his family and supporting the Reds, Bengals and Buckeyes.
Dr. Pipo attended The Ohio State University where he studied chemistry as an undergraduate and received his Doctor of Optometry in 1992. He is licensed by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, The International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry, and the Ohio State Board of Optometry. Dr. Pipo has previously served as an associate clinical instructor at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and optometric director for a laser and cataract center. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, sports and the outdoors.
Dr. Eder completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and a minor in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2008 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Throughout her clinical training she rotated through the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Hospital as well as multiple private practice settings where she focused on treatment and management of ocular disease, co-managing ocular refractive and cataract surgery and low vision rehabilitation. During her time at Ohio State, Dr. Eder was a member of several student organizations including the American Optometric Student Association and Epsilon Psi Epsilon Optometric Fraternity. Currently Dr. Eder is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Ohio Optometric Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Eder enjoys watching football (especially the Buckeyes,) spending time with her niece and nephews, traveling, hiking and doing yoga. She’s also an animal lover and lives with her two cats Charlie and Winnie.
Dr. Allison Neuhaus is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She grew up in Northeast Ohio and attended OSU for her B.S. in Psychology, where she realized her fascination with brain’s vision pathways and the value in enhancing peoples’ quality of life through clarity of vision. Dr. Neuhaus is passionate about providing accessible general and contact lens exams to individuals of all ages and co-managing ocular disease. In her personal life, she enjoys going to concerts, cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, and trying new restaurants around Columbus.
Dr. Eriq Hall is originally from Lorain, Ohio (near the Cleveland area). He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Biology from Capital University in 2018. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2022 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Dr. Hall completed clinical rotations at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and Ohio State Havener Eye Institute where he gained experience in treating and managing ocular disease, contact lens fittings, co-managing ocular refractive and cataract surgery, and pediatric optometry. During his time in optometry school, Dr. Hall was a student fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and former president of the optometric fraternity Epsilon Psi Epsilon (EYE). He also volunteers in a program that helps educate children on the importance of routine eye exams known as RealEyes.
During his free time, Dr. Hall enjoys watching sporting events, hiking through National Parks, and trying new local restaurants.
